Ready, set, design!

Welcome to our first blog post. Back in May 2014, a Refugee Survival Trust volunteer had the idea of launching a t-shirt design competition to help raise awareness of asylum matters in Scotland.

Now, with the help of the Scottish Fair Trade Forum, we have turned that idea into a reality.

The objectives of the competition include increasing the visibility of RST and providing an interactive platform so the public can engage with the charity and its work.

You are all encouraged to participate in this fantastic opportunity and design a T-shirt which expresses the theme of 'Supporting Refugee Survival'. Here are some buzzwords to help get your creative energy flowing: assistance, asylum, cooperation, fairness, justice, need, opportunity, partnership, respect, sanctuary, seek, support, survival, wellbeing.
